Our deliveries are "curb side", by a one-man delivery service, in an 18 Tonne Truck as standard (Please request a smaller one if required). The driver is not responsible to move the product into your premises. We ask customers to ensure that they meet the following prerequisites:
1. That they are contactable on the telephone number provided on the arranged day of delivery
2. That the goods they have purchased will fit into their property
3. That you are present at the arranged time and date of delivery
We also strongly recommend that customers have two able-bodied persons on hand to receive the products, as some goods can weigh up to 35 Kilos.
We endeavour to maintain our reputation for cost and time-effective solutions to divan and mattress problems. Our advertised delivery times and prices are an agreement between you, the customer, and us the supplier. Those prices and times are as follows:
1. FREE UK mainland (ex Highland) in 4 working days
2. FREE Highland in 7 working days
3. Saturday AM, England only (available during checkout process)
4. UK off shore, in 7 working days
5. European Union, in 10 working days

The following are the terms and conditions that all customers enter into with Beds 2U upon dispatch of any product supplied by Beds 2U.
1. All deliveries are a one-man "to the door" service, and therefore customers are responsible for moving the products into their own homes. We recommend that two able-bodied persons be present to receive the goods, as some items weigh up to 35 Kilos.
2. Sadly, we are unable at this time to offer a "timed delivery service" and as such can only guarantee time of delivery to inside any 9-hour period on any given day of the week, that being between 0830 and 1730, Monday to Saturday. Our staff consider it their privilege to attempt to secure an Estimated Time of Arrival for your product on the arranged day of delivery, but these estimates cannot be understood to be guarantees of any kind.
3. We guarantee that goods will be free from any unacceptable manufacturing defect upon arrival, and will replace any product received in a defected condition. Refunds to the amount of the goods are also available in these cases.
4. Goods that are unwrapped are non-returnable, primarily for hygiene reasons.
5. Beds 2U cannot accept any responsibility for damage to your property or home during the execution of your delivery, due to our employ of Third Party Couriers. We are happy to act an intial intermediaries in the event of any such claim occuring.
6. All Customers should have a valid telephone number that they are contactable on. This is essential to the delivery process.
7. All goods remain the property of Beds 2U until dispatched, and Beds 2U is not considered to be in a contract of sale until this takes place.
8. Pictures are a true representation of the items purchasable, but may not match the product received in every case.
9. All purchases are currently in Pounds Sterling (£GBP)
10. Quotations are valid for 90 days only.
11. The Management and Ownership (that including Sales Executives) of Beds 2U reserve the right to refuse purchase and/or service to anybody at any time, without needing to state a reason.
These terms and conditions comply with the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Act (2002) and the Sale of Goods Act (1979).
If customers order incorrectly, or are unable to take delivery, they themselves incurr all transportation and storage costs accumulated by Beds 2U in the process of executing delivery. Refunds are not available on custom/non-regular items, except where the fault lies with Beds 2U. Customers are responsible for the arrangement and expense of returns for any other reason.
We are unable to accept returns, except when goods are seriously damaged in transit, or an unacceptable manufacturing defect becomes apparent. Customers are responsible for the arrangement and expense of returns for any other reason, and for the expense incurred to Beds 2U during transportation and execution of the original order's delivery.
Refunds will be made by Cheque, once returned goods have been received and inspected. Beds 2U reserves the right to refund in any other manner and at any other point it sees fit and to refuse and/or change the level of renumeration if the goods are received damaged.
Beds 2U will quote for delivery worldwide to major ports. Because our site shows all prices including VAT we will manually remove the VAT our end. European Union customers still need to pay VAT unless they can supply a valid TVA certificate by email.
Both our 5ft and 6ft zip and link beds are wrapped in the same 3ft bags. If you have purchased a 5ft Zip and Link, notice that the bag is taped down where it is loose around your product. This is nothing to worry about. If you want to be sure, grab a tape measure and measure the base for yourself - our 5ft Zip and Link beds are made of two 2ft6 pieces.
We trade to standard commercial size, rather than standard domestic. This allows us to use standard size single bedding on our zip and link beds when they are separated. If you have 6ft6 fitted sheets, the three inches in length will make little to no difference on a 6ft3 bed.
We supply headboard attachments at both ends so that when a bed is rotated (as in the case of a zip and link bed with drawers) the headboard can be placed at either end. The official headboard end is usually the end with the join in the fabric.
Occasionally beds come with linking bars both at one end and not on the other. This is easily fixed, since the linking bars are fully removable and can easily be placed at the other end.
Sometimes there are splinters of wood left inside the castor clasps on the bases, which simply need removing. Please be aware that sometimes castors need reasonable force to insert, and broken ones can be easily and quickly replaced at no extra cost from Beds 2U.
