Our Hotel Mattresses & Contract Beds meet and pass medium hazard (BS7177), naked flame fire tests - in the trade we refer to this as "source 5" or "Crib 5" fire regulations. It basically means that these mattresses take longer to consume and engulf from an open flame than mattresses with lower, or "Source 3" fire regulations. These higher fire regulations are a legal requirement for hospitality industry and commercial establishments (including Universities, Student Accommodation, B&B's and Care Homes) with 6 bedrooms or more under UK Legislation.
